Bloodsuckingflea's Board-To-Board with Overgryph
From FFXIclopedia, the free Final Fantasy XI encyclopedia
Sorry I couldn't get to you earlier regarding your message of which job is easiest to start out. I honestly didn't know how this board worked and never saw your message. I always go with THF and WAR when I start on a fresh server. This gives me a chance to A) get mad party invites and sub whatever I want, and B) farm for gil/items as thief in my off-time. Whatever you decide to do, many subjobs are necessary for end-game. You can stay level synced in Valkurm dunes for your entire career if you prefer. If your goal is to get a level 75 job then that is what I would do. Me personally, I took RDM to 75 first because I heard it was the trickiest job to play and beat Maat. (he gave me hell) but on my newest account, I enjoyed taking damage dealers such as Warrior and Monk (whenever I could get party invites!) to 75. I have two 75s and most relevant subjobs to 37 now, so end-game is a breeze for me. Whatever you decide to play starting out, make sure you enjoy it or you can ruin your entire experience.
Hey. I just started playing FFXI since about March 2008 sometime. I was wondering if you have any particular tips on how to go about leveling the first job the easiest. I am growing weary from the fact that every little thing I find would make it easier is highly dependent on leveling something else, and so on and so forth. Everything is so interconnected. >.< I know it's a vague question, but I appreciate any advice you can give. By the way, I have most jobs open (not PUP, BLU, COR, and SCH). I also read up on the game a lot during my off time, so I am pretty well versed in how the game works for the little amount of the game I've played. Thanks for reading and, hopefully, helping me. ^.^
