Just wanted to say you write some of the best crafting guides. Not that I have tried them all but your's makes the most sense. Would have sent this a long time ago but assumed you no longer played. Thanks
hi there ^^ my names wolfey and i have used you crafting guides to lv all my crafts and are very impressed with them, thought i would say lol ^^ im in the middle of doin a guide of my own and have just joined with wikki but not sure on how i go about postin my guide on the site. i was just wondering if you would be able to send me a message back please tellin me how to put a new guide onto wikki. my guide is.. the best way to get materials from farming and npc to make the 7 main nin tools and make good gill at the same time. if you would please help me out on how to post this i would very much appriciate it .. thankyou for your time and look forward to your reply. ^^
I was at work and wasn't signed in until I decided to edit your commentary section. Would have just sent you a message to pose the question, but figure that a lot of people would like to know what you think on WW HQ strats. Thanks.
I was wondering if there was a maximum level gap you can be from an items cap to skill up from breaks. I have noticed that like being 7 to 8 levels below cap I never have skilled up and only skill up when i successfully craft the item, but closer to cap i skillup on breaks.
1/10 catch/cast rate doesn't seem bad to me right now >_>; I'm fishing up Gugrusaurus and the line snap/rod break/lost catch rate is HORRIBLE. Also being at 0/300 and having invested about 12mil makes for a sad fisherman...
I think I figured it out after some trial and error. On a seperate note, I want to thank you for all the guides you write. I have been a big fan of yours since I started and follow them better than the media on Obama.
Regarding the shadowreign areas like E.Ron etc... I have most of them, but generally speaking I just use the C.A. npc to telelport whereever I need to go. I.e. E. Ronfare to get to sandy, etc.
First, I wanted to thank you for your guides on crafting, they have been both interesting and helpful thus far.
Secondly, so you know where I could possibly find a guide or general advice on in-game priorities, expectations and the like?
I have used two anniversary rings to reach Sch59/Rdm29 with most of the time between being away from the game due to irl issues.
At present I am on Bastok 5-1, with no other missions completed, Cooking 60, Alchemy 13, 1 million gil behind on gear/spells, and sitting at about 300gil (*'-'). Jobs are Sch59/Rdm29/Whm21/Blm20/War15/Blu10/Thf9/Nin7.
Presently my attempts at playing the game are a mess, as I get confused and stressed and seem to get little accomplished.
My ideas are to try to level subs, and work on crafting, and try to get missions up to recommended lvl60 completed as a means to make the 1 million gil I need to catch up on gear/spells.
Any constructive information or advice you can provide would be much appreciated.
~p.s. I noticed that you do your Campaign Ops for subjobs, that is a great idea, I will use it in all likelihood for nin at least ^.^
Thanks for the info. unfortinitly, i think im going to go back to leveling my thf some. Farming, as much as i dispise it, would be quite helpfull. Be able to work on my leathercraft at the same time. Im very picky about not lossing money while crafting. However dont think what will work so well with bone unless i farm some. As for my spelling/grammer in my guides.. lol. Yea. I no its bad, i knew it would be bad before typeing it. Never been my strong suit. Ill try to give them a look over soon. I no it can be rather annoying to some ppl.
Thanks!
Btw, one guide mentioned the shells were easy to get in sea serpents grotto. I wnt their as /thf and only got like 2 in an hour, so im doubting that claim lol
you mention in your guide that crab shells are easlly farmable from jobs 50 Evenythign iv seen shows either a incedibly low drop rate, or drop from fished up mobs. Was wondering if im missing something here? Carapace Mask - Bonecraft (45)
Oh wow, that map, it was just Paint Shop Pro, nothin special. Filled circle with fill set to 50% opacity. And I went over that map so many times that you could point to a place with mining points and I might be able to tell you the names of the mobs.
I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your crafting guides. I'm an aspiring crafter and for a while I was lvling cooking on my own and trying to make/break even as much as possible. I have since branched out to include all the crafts because, yes, I am a craftaholic. Without your guides I would never have been able to do as well as I have. I never have much gil but your guides have kept the loses at a minimum so far, Cooking 38, Fishing 21, Alchemy 20, Goldsmithing 2, Smithing 18, Clothcraft 8, Bonecraft 15, Woodworking 23. I know the hard time are coming for me but with the help of your guides and the various gardening mules for extra gil I'm doing all right. Once again thanks for all the hard work you have put into your guides making it easier for us noobs to find our way around a crystal. :)
Thanks, Morgard(Garuda)
i think i will create a new chacter on your sever. i will tell you my name when i get one. i hope to meet you. also the easy pray exp. is nice. So I hope to see you online.
Ctownwoody,
I like your guild guides. Thanks for the good advice. I came across a new fact and thought I'd share it with you. Seems the latest update made copper ingot synthesis cap at 3, rather than 2 like it used to be.
Have a nice day. Laquesta (Quetzlcoatl)
Hello!
I would just like to take a second to thank you for all of the hard work you have given this community in the way of guides! I like to craft alot so I spend alot of time in different crafting pages here and whenever I look at the guides I look for one by you first. I find them to be extremely informative and reliable.
Thanks again and please keep up the good work!
