Walkthrough

NOTE: You must zone after completing the previous quest before you can start this quest.

• Talk to Hariga-Origa in Windurst Waters in the west Optistery F-8, he will request that you to bring him items to fix brown smudges in a book.
  • This quest is NOT given by the same NPC Tosuka-Porika who gives the previous quest Chasing Tales! It's the same NPC which gave you the first quest in this line.
• Obtain Slime Oil, which drops from slime family of monsters, or bought through the Auction House. Also acquire a Frost Turnip, which can be bought on the Auction House or the Valdeaunia regional merchant.

• Trade both items at the same time to Hariga-Origa for a map of Fei'Yin.
  • (optional) After completion talk to Serukoko to learn the origin of the stain

Summary

While transcribing an ancient manuscript, Hariga-Origa finds a smudge that makes the writing unreadable. He wants you to help find an item that will clear the nasty blot away.
