Notes According to Vana'diel Tribune [[1]], this NPC was produced by Rhinostery and was presented to San d'Oria, Bastok and Windurst.Historical Background This NPC is imitating Kagami mochi, which is one of the common New Year decoration in Japan as well as Kadomatsu. Ake is named after あけおめ(Ake Ome), the abbreviation of あけましておめでとう!(Akemashite Omedetou!) which means "A Happy New Year!" Its counterpart Ome is from the 2nd phrase. |
