Historical Background

In Greek mythology, Anapos was a water deity based out of Sicily. He was turned into the river Anapo by Hades for opposing the abduction of Persephone.

This Moblin Maze Monger NM’s name deviates from the format of most other Elemental NMs, not using the Latin word for water for its name. The Latin word for water would be aqua or unda.
