Historical Background

In Christian texts, an Arch Demon (commonly spelled Archdemon) is a demon of high rank in the infernal hierarchy, being Hell's equivalent of an Archangel (see [Ark Angel Race] for more info). As Archangels lead choirs of angels, Archdemons lead demonic hosts.
