Historical BackgroundEdit

In Arthurian folklore, Arondight was the sword of Sir Lancelot. Arondight has Additional Effect: Water Damage, which seems to be inspired by one of Lancelot's names, Lancelot of the Lake, deriving from his origin (being raised by the Lady of the Lake on the Isle of Maidens, an island in perpetual spring where no man may step foot on. In some accounts though, the lake is an illusion and there is a kingdom populated by both genders in the "lake"bed). Lancelot was the most trusted knight of King Arthur, but his affair with Arthur's wife Guinevere fractured the court of Camelot and led to King Arthur's downfall.
