Walkthrough
Kill all the undead to win.
- You start the level in (F-9).
- Half of the skeletons and ghosts are to the south of the entrance, half are to the north.
- When they are all defeated, the Rune of Release appears back where you started.
- There are gates in (H-8/9) and (F/G-8) that block off part of the map. Ignore them.
Notes
- The Draugar's Wyverns have about 1000 HP and can be resummoned by the Draconic Draugars 20min after starting the mission.
- WHM/NIN is a pretty good DD in this mission, with Banish to lower defense and Hexa Strike.
- Banish against the ghost type mobs can essentially double the damage caused by melee attacks. The Banish spell will remove the ghosts' resistance to melee attacks.
- Time is very important in this Assault. If you are still fighting mobs when 5 minutes are remaining, consider having a party member run back to the Rune of Release so that it can be activated immediately after the last mob is killed.
- Because of the Skeleton's AoE Drain HP move (Resulting in them getting sometimes more than half their health back), it may be a wise choice to get RNG BLM SMN or SAM/RNG as DD's with 1 tank preferably PLD. Be sure to have someone pulling a bit early but not too early to save time.
- Due to their bonus against bones, a MNK PT with at least one WHM for Banish on the ghost is very effective.
- Make sure to bring a way to remove curse as the reduced movement speed can be enough to cause a loss, especially when using less than six people.
