Bar Elemental

Description

Bar Elemental is a beneficial status effect that surrounds a player with an element until it wears off or is removed. Benefiting characters gain resistance to a specific element. Damaging spells of the same element will have a chance of getting resisted and deal reduced damage. Enfeebling effects of the same element (directly or indirectly) will have a lower chance of landing on the characters.

How to remove the effect

• This effect can be dispelled.
• This effect can be removed manually.
• Only one Bar Element spell can be cast at one time, and any new Bar Element effect will replace the previous one.

• Blessed Briault enhances Magic Defense Bonus of the corresponding element by +5
• Cleric's Pantaloons enhances resistance by +20
• Cleric's Pantaloons +1 enhances resistance by +22

Job Abilities

• While under the effect of Afflatus Solace, an additional defense bonus to the associated element will be given.

Merit Points

• White Mage Group 1 Job-Specific Merit Points (+2 potency of Bar spells, +2 Magic Defense Bonus per upgrade)
