Historical Background

Many Flytrap monsters are named ___trap, as the " ___ " represents some creature. Battrap means this plant catches Bats in it. Bulldog Bats and Specter Bats appear in Carpenters' Landing while Ding Bats and Mouse Bats appear in East Ronfaure (S), and thus they may be the prey for this carnivorous plant. However, this name may or may not be literal and may merely be an exaggeration or instance of creative naming.
