Walkthrough
- Zone into North Gustaberg (S) from Bastok Markets (S) to start the quest. Wolfram asks you to bring the Clump of Animal Hair to a man named Engelhart.
- Return to Bastok Markets (S) and speak with Engelhart (K-10). (Harmodios' Music Shop in the present). Engelhart asks you to speak with a client at the waterfall in North Gustaberg (S).
- Travel to North Gustaberg (S). Near the Drachenfall, on the western side of the cliff and southern side of the river at (F-8), there is a ???. Click it for a cutscene. You are asked to pick up a Xhifhut from the goblin Leadavox.
- Get a Gnole Claw either from the Auction House or from killing Gnole type mobs.
- Travel to Vunkerl Inlet (S) and talk to Leadavox. Leadavox is on Gerlvan Isle on the border of (I-6) & (J-6) behind the Cyclopean Gate. Leadavox asks you to bring her a Gnole Claw in exchange for the Key Item: Xhifhut.
- Trade Leadavox the Gnole Claw for the Xhifhut.
- Return to Bastok Markets (S) and speak with Engelhart again to complete this quest.
- During this Cutscene you will receive a Key Item: Warning Letter
Notes
- This Quest does not require finishing The Fighting Fourth quest, as long as you did the similar quest with either of the other 2 nations.
- Gnole Claws can be obtained from killing Gnoles around E-7 in Batallia Downs (S).
- You can also camp/farm Decrepit Gnoles at the Jugner Forest (S) Cavernous Maw.
- Gnole Claws can also be obtained through Campaign Battles.
