Walkthrough

• Talk to Luto Mewrilah in Upper Jeuno (G-8) for a cutscene that starts the quest.
• Luto Mewrilah will send you to find a ??? in 1 of 3 locations (see maps to the right):

• Ordelle's Caves (I-5)
• Ranguemont Pass (I-9)
• Korroloka Tunnel (F-9/10, 5th map with exit to Western Altepa Dessert)

• Travel to the location and check the ??? to spawn the Metallic Slime with about 900HP. Your NPC will appear to fight with you, and will gain EXP as normal.
• Talk to your NPC immediately after defeating the Slime, they will say something about the Vitrallum.

• If you wait too long to talk to your npc they will dismiss themselves and when you check the ??? point you will not receive the item. If this happens, you will need to re-zone and wait until the next Vana'diel day to respawn the Metallic Slime.

• Check the ??? point again to receive the Vitrallum.
• Return to Upper Jeuno for a cutscene with Luto Mewrilah.
• Head to King Ranperre's Tomb and zone out into Jugner Forest. Consider doing the quest A Timely Visit at the same time if you can handle the corresponding NMs, since it also involves this little-used area of Jugner.
• Head east to the lake and then north for a little bit until you find a ??? located at (G-5). Click it for a cutscene to complete the quest.

You can not reach the ??? from the main path in Jugner Forest because all paths are blocked.
