Breads & Rice can be classified into six different types, based on the effect they give you upon use. The first type is Snacks, they give you a temporary (3-5 minutes) food effects on HP or MP healing. The second type is Breads, which offer some Hit Points and Vitality, good for low-level jobs (levels 1-20). The third type is Sandwiches, they offer a good amount of Hit Points and Vitality plus other stats, recommended for a tank or melee job. The fourth type is Rice Balls, they are specifically made for the Samurais (though Ninja and Monk can benefit too). The fifth type, Rice Dishes, has more stats than a rice ball, allowing it to be used by more attack jobs and Rangers. The sixth type is Pasta, these dishes can only be made by a chef who has the Noodle Kneading ability. Pasta dishes are excellent melee food (best for Monk and Warrior jobs), with stats including Hit Points, Attack, and Store TP.

All Breads & Rice are stackable (with few exceptions).
