Organizations are the groups of NPCs or beastmen that share the same goal. They are formally recognized by Square Enix and are mentioned in the missions and quests of Final Fantasy XI or mentioned in the Vana'diel Tribune. In other words, these are canon oranganizations and are not linkshells or fictional organizations created by fans.
