Requested move

Move: These are all really category:Throwing items. I think they should be recategorized and this should be a redirect. --Gahoo 18:18, 19 September 2006 (EDT)

Comment: Edit. They are throwing, or marksmanship, or archery ammo. I think they should just be listed in those categories. Marksmanship already has ammo listed. Throwing has an ammo section - although maybe it should be split again into damage dealing and stat enhancing. Archery needs an ammo section maybe. Either way this seems lost in the shuffle. --Gahoo 18:23, 19 September 2006 (EDT)

Move: I agree; I recently started leveling Thief and really liked having the various bolts sorted by level. Archery definitely needs this. --Eithin 08:35, 24 September 2006 (EDT)

Add Please Mega Fan is missing from the list of Articles, which looks like only admins can fix. :/ --Kitosoma 03:09, 29 May 2007 (CDT)

Remove There is a "Sun Water" entry, which is of course a Beastmaster jug item, in the "Ammunition" section of the "Ammo & Misc" category. This needs to be moved to the "Pet Items" section. Just caught my eye is all. --Kalila 1:08, 09 July 2007 (CDT)

I took care of it. --TECHNO-- Talk / Contrib 13:00, 9 July 2007 (CDT)
Comment: I suggest for non-expendable category to have it's own subsection, and indicate jobs that can use each of them, dunno what everyone else thinks about that. --Kletian 04:56, 21 Aug 2007 (CDT)
Comment: Check now. We had this in the throwing article. --GAHOO t/ c 17:38, 21 August 2007 (CDT)

Changes

I've added DMG and Delay to all types where it makes sense. These tables are nice for listing the gear out there, but like the charts for other weapons, the real usefullness is in comparing the different items that go in each slot. You can't compare ammo without DMG and delay.

I also added a sub-type to bullets "Culverin Shells". I think that makes sense.

I also removed the sub-type "Grenades from throwing. There is nothing that really sets them apart from other throwing types. If someone doesn't like this and you decide to put grenades back, please put bomb arms with them. They can be used by the same jobs and have the same delay, and if you look at them and think about where they came from you should realize they are the same thing as grenades, just not man made.

Lastly... if someone out there has a smallish resolution, the addition of DMG and dDelay may make the charts hard to read. If this has happenned to someone I'm sorry, but the information really makes these charts worth having. Who cares that there are 20+ types of arrows if I can't tell which ones are better than the others? I'd suggest that if this is affecting anyone that they remove the coding that puts this page into two columns. All the otehr weapons pages are in a single column, I'm not sure why this one is different.--NoOneLeftTalk 05:12, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
