Difficulty
It's interesting that players such as myself without sea access can complete the relic +1 armor set, but not the lesser quality artifact +1 armor set. (Players can begin Dreamworld Dynamis before they have Limbus access) --Overgryph 13:18, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
Armor Stats
It would be nice if people could see what the stats were on the AF+1 (and which stats had been improved upon, compared to the original Artifact pieces) without having to click on each individual piece. I'm not an FFXIclopedia vet or a wiki expert, so I'm not sure whether it's best to make AF+1 Set pages for each job, or to include all the information on this page. --Ichthyos 01:13, 17 June 2006 (PDT)
Eventually I'll be getting to make set pages for them. --Chrisjander 05:39, 17 June 2006 (PDT)
Just made a set page for the Healer's Attire +1 after the model of Healer's Attire; a comparison of the global improvements of AF+1 over AF could be made at the bottom. Not sure where a per piece comparison could be put best though. Let me know what you think. --Eithin 19:11, 24 September 2006 (EDT)
Just waited one Conquest update (the hourly update) to receive my AF+1. It still wasn't ready. Was this supposed to mean Conquest Tally? --Chocobits 10:13, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
Item Templates
Some of the armour pieces don't seem to be using the item template, I might start putting them in the right format if I find the time. --Eithin 17:22, 24 September 2006 (EDT)
- Edit: Placed the WHM +1 set in a form that seems OK to me. --Eithin 18:19, 24 September 2006 (EDT)
Sagheera Says...
Can this page has the text of what Sagheera says when it comes to upgrading AF to AF+1? The Category: Relic Armor +1 page gives a transcript of what she says and it helps illuminate the story or purpose behind some of the items or places in the game. --zoogelio-forgot-his-password 22:17, 18 October 2006 (EDT)
It seems the dialog she uses for upgrading AF is much like the one for relic armor. Distilled this from the DAT files, not sure if it's 100% correct; needs to be confirmed (perhaps by myself when I upgrade a part in the future):
I came from the Near East to peddle my wares. I heard that there are simply hordes of gullib--err, that is, I have heard of the great adventurers that roam this land, and wish to be of service to them. If you happen to know of any seasoned adventurers, I ask that you bring them to me. Be sure to tell them of my fabulous good!
Wait a moment...
You are an adventurer, are you not? I hear your sort does all kinds of things--fighting with monsters, cooking, and collecting all sorts of little knickknacks...
Oh, I am truly sorry if I have offended you. I am from a land far to the east of here, and tales of adventurers are quite popular in my hometown.
Anyway, you adventurers are quite the rowdy lot, always playing outside and showing up looking as if you had wallowed in mud, correct?
Are you really so dirty?
[Selection Dialog]Oh my, such confidence.
- Give me some mud to wallow in! (leads to the Cosmic Cleanser dialog)
- No! My equipment glistens! (leads to the AF upgrading dialog:)
Could it be because you possess that remarkable armor I have heard about in rumors...artifact armor, I believe it is called?
I am not finished, so wait! Undoubtedly your artifact armor was once something to take pride in, but at present it is surely quite battered from your adventuring, not to mention that it has simply become old and could use a boost...correct?
If I were you, my dear friend, I would take your precious artifact armor and restore it! Rejuvenate it! Give it new life! Does that not sound like the proper course of action?
I know exactly what you need. You absolutely must bring the necessary ingredients, and I will send them with your artifact armor to the craftsmen of the Near East for a miniscule fee in [ancient beastcoins?]!
There, I have contracts with the most skilled artisans, who will make your artifact armor shine like never before.
Of course, it shall be difficult for you to give up your beloved artifact armor, if but for a short while. However, please inform me if you work up the courage, and I will tell you the ingredients I require.
I'm fairly sure this is the dialog for AF, so let me know if it can be incorporated in the article like this. --Eithin 18:31, 25 February 2007 (EST)
