Was wondering if anyone had an idea on how to seperate "dagger" the weapon from "dagger" the weapon category? Clicking on the weapon entry redirects it back to the weapon page instead of to a information page.
Dagger has been freed up from the redirect.--Gahoo 14:42, 5 Apr 2005 (PDT)
Does anyone know which of the dagger weaponskills are ones that PUP can use, without any certain subjob?
Unusual statistics for certain daggers
I made some changes to the statistics for Mercurial Kris, Blau Dolch, and Heart Snatcher in the "Daggers By Level" table. The changes reflect actual combat properties of the daggers when being used as intended, and were made so sorting the table by DPS / Base Damage would put these daggers in the appropriate places:
- Mercurial Kris will attack 1-3 times per round, averaging exactly 2. Thus the DPS is double the calculated amount.
- Blau Dolch's Latent Effect will change the base damage to 33 for TP < 100 and for weaponskills. Thus the DPS and the base damage are increased.
- Heart Snatcher Latent Effect "unlocks" a base damage of 30, doubling the base damage from 15 and doubling the DPS.
Please don't change these values back to their original numbers, or if you do at least leave a note on this page explaining your reasoning.

Does this mean someone should change the DPS values of the Perdu weapons as well as other multi-hit weapons similar to Merc Kris as well? I feel it can get confusing if all the other pages list the lower value on the weapons page while the Daggers list the higher value instead. Should be one or the other for all weapons of similar nature. Zareth 19:47, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
I would say yes, for those weapons where we know the new "real" values. For example, the Mercurial Kris's talk page lists an undisputed value for the attack rate, while Ridill has a lot of inconclusive or contradicting tests, so we couldn't really update Ridill.
It's worth noting that I ran into trouble with my edits: people wanted to revert them to the listed values. The best solution around this seems to be including the listed value in the item description on that table. For example, with Blau Dolch, the entry in the Category:Daggers table includes "Base Damage: 26" in the weapon description column, but lists "33" in the base damage column. This removes any ambiguity. --Malizia 22:47, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Energy Drain
I've been leveling up my dagger on Bst because its easy to solo difficult mobs and get skill ups that way. Im trying to cap it so i can do the brd maat fight etc.... Anyways... Bst doesn't get this weapon skill and its not noted on the dagger main page. If anybody knows which jobs do get this and could update please assist ^^ Jado818 23:59, November 1, 2009 (UTC)
