Requested Move

Move: I really don't see any reason for this article to be called "Black Puddings". Black Pudding is the name for a specific mob in this family, and aside from that, the word "pudding" isn't even used in the names of any other mobs in the family aside from Ebony Puddings. It would be more appropriate for this article to be called "Category:Flans". It is a more commonly used suffix for these mobs and it is also what they are referred to as in the Bestiary. I also believe that this is what NPCs refer to them as in-game. –Anson 15:29, 7 September 2007 (CDT)

Comment: If "Flan" is what they are actually referred to in the game, then it should probably be moved. My understanding is that the BLU AF quests may have something to do with these mobs. Perhaps someone who has done them may be able to clear this up. --TECHNO-- Talk / Contrib 16:54, 7 September 2007 (CDT)

Do not move: See ToAU site under "Adversaries." There they list mob families and list these as "Black Puddings." --GAHOO t/ c 18:24, 7 September 2007 (CDT)

Do not move: Per Gahoo, they should be categorized by how they are listed by the development team. --CharitwoTalk 18:34, 7 September 2007 (CDT)

Move, but not to Flans: It should be changed to just Puddings, given that not all of them are even black. (See the Custards of Nyzul Isle.) Tahngarthor 03:14, 12 September 2007 (CDT)

Move: This type of mob has been known as Flan's in many FF games, additionaly the Pankration officials class their category as type 'Flan'. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by SnowWolf (talkcontribs).

Comment: Having this category called Black Puddings also causes name confusion with the monster Black Pudding and the food item Black Pudding. Currently links in Bhaflau Remnants meant to point to the monster are pointing to the item with the same name. Additionally, I don't think the ToAU preview flash thing should be taken as golden correct info "from the developers." (Particuarly given the comment above this one.) Move: The ingame name for this family is flan. This can be confirmed in the colosseum. --Seedling 15:40, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

Move: This seems reasonable to me. I think the Pankration name should be weighed more heavily than the flash presentation name probably put together by a webmonkey before all the names were finalized. --TECHNO-- Talk / Contrib 15:55, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

Move: I agree that Flan should be the proper name. Pankration references it but so does may of the drops that have "Flan" in the name. --ЩåΫķẮ †Talk† 04:41, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

Comment: Should the category not be singular, Flan as opposed to flans? --CharitwoTalk 04:51, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

Move: Makes sense with our new information. --GAHOO t/ c 13:51, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

Move: In light of information from Pankration agreed for moving. --Tarundi 06:15, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

Resolution: Move. --CharitwoTalk 04:43, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
