Clean up! --Chrisjander 11:31, 6 August 2006 (EDT)

On another note... I think I'm going to rearrange the links here to see if I can organize this in a much more efficient way. I'm thinking that instead of pot pages, it would be better to have seed recipe pages instead. That way everything could fit on one page. One table with a column for crystal fed, then brass pot results, earthen pot results, ceramic pot results, etc. I think this could condense the number or pages significantly. --Chrisjander 11:31, 6 August 2006 (EDT)

Rearrangement looks great! --Gahoo 12:29, 7 August 2006 (EDT)

Yeah, I'm going to make pages for two different sets, organized by pots (the ones we have now) and then I'll make pages that organize them by seed (Same format, different columns). --Chrisjander 12:31, 7 August 2006 (EDT)

I just have to say I love that pic XD --Ganiman 22:03, 7 August 2006 (EDT)

Heh, yeah, that was back when Kwitcher was my mule. I like money shots like that, without the name, so you can see everything in the background. --Chrisjander 22:13, 7 August 2006 (EDT)

Slowly becomming the best gardening resource on the web. Go wiki! --Gahoo 14:35, 10 August 2006 (EDT)

Really? --Chrisjander 14:40, 10 August 2006 (EDT)

There's not a whole lot out there on gardening that I am aware of other than Pikko's Pots - which is rather confusing IMO. --Gahoo 14:43, 10 August 2006 (EDT)

Piko's is pretty well know, but now wiki is taking over, mwahaha... anyway, wow, I really had no idea this was a major resource. I'll be working harder on it now ^^ And it appears I've obtained a helper too. Thanks Devious --Chrisjander 14:45, 10 August 2006 (EDT)

Elemental ores

I've posted this on the discussion page of the tree cutting recipes, figured I'd add it here as well

To garden elemental ores:
Plant tree cuttingsapling on darksday
Feed corresponding crystals to the desired ore (ice for ice ore), doesn't matter on which day
Harvest on lightsday
If you want a light ore then don't feed any crystals.
It's all based on luck. Some believe that the moon phase is of influence but I haven't seen any conclusive tests on this yet.
At first I thought you had to plant the cuttingsapling on the day of your desired ore. So I've done ice on iceday and fed ice crystals on iceday and harvest on iceday, this has always given me platinum leaves. Same goes for lightening. Planted on lighteningday, fed lightening crystals on lightening and harvest on lightening. So this also gave me platinum leaves.

Edited Tattersail's remark as you plant Saplings, not Cuttings to get Ores. Also, take the advice with a grain of Rock Salt. I've always fed my Saplings on the day corresponding to the crystal I feed with (i.e. Fire Crystal on Firesday). It's given me pretty good results. Rook 13:04, 13 September 2007 (CDT)

Growing time

I was growin tree saplings to get ore (light ore to be precise)on 2 different mules, and I've just notice that the total time took for coming to "be ready to pick up" was different.

FACT: I've planted seed on the exact same day/time/moon phase on both mule A & B

  • mule A in the lay out had 10/10 porcellain pot; 9/10 porcellain pot 1/10 earthen pot for mule B
  • they both got gardenind Moghancement
  • mule A has a stronger aura earth strength than mule B

RESULT: mule A was ready to harvest 1 day earlier than mule B

CONCLUSION/DEDUCTION: either there is an hidden gardening skill that allow to grow faster (was my first time on mule B and the 3rd on mule A)or the aura earth strength has something to do with the time it takes. Pot set up difference should have nothing to do with that becouse I read that porcellain should take more, not less.

Am I missing something?
