I have a small question regarding skillups for this skill. I'm certain that casting a -na spell has given me a skillup in the past, but that was to cure a party member's status ailment in combat. Casting -na spells on myself in town to try and train Healing Skill, however, hasn't worked a bit thus far. Was I just unlucky, or do -na spells really have no chance of giving skill ups unless you successfully cure something? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lunarcurtain (talk • contribs).
Skillup rate is greatly improved when you have something to heal, but you can get skillups anywhere. Also, on a separate note, you should sign your comments using the second button on the right side (labeled "your signature with timestamp) or type --~~~~. --Chrisjander 13:01, 8 January 2007 (EST)
Erk.. I forgot to sign last time. But anyhow, do you know for certain that you can get healing skillups by casting -na spells, even if they're not curing anything? --Lunarcurtain 13:08, 8 January 2007 (EST)
Unless they've changed it recently, yes, it's just rare to get healing skillups when there's nothing to heal. --Chrisjander 14:09, 8 January 2007 (EST)
Absolute maximum?
The absolute max for White Mage appears to be 355 Healing Magic skill. Just an interesting point of note. --Volkai 19:05, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
