Recommendation: Delete the page "Zephyr Mantle" as it does not need to be a wikipedia page for now. Leave Category:Puks alone. --Ayrlie 07:42, 2 October 2006 (CDT)

I think we have a tag now that denotes items that aren't in existance yet. --Chrisjander 09:43, 2 October 2006 (EDT)

I think you are thinking that is a cape/mantle that does not exist? It is not, it is an ability that puks have. No other monster ability has its own page (with the exception of blue magic spells), so unless pages are made for those other abilties, I don't see why this needs its own page. --Jopasopa 15:06, 2 October 2006 (EDT)

Verified that Crosswind is wind damage, as it heals other Puks; removed (?) Innuendo 09:38, 17 August 2007 (CDT)

Is there any evidence to the statement that Puks feed on blood? I simply thought they were chimeras themselves... --Taeria Saethori 19:08, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

They are chimeras, or at least that's what the description for the Puk Wing item would lead you to believe. "A lightweight, transparent wing from a variety of chimera." The bit about them possibly being hematophagous probably has no weight. --FFXI-Armando 17:02, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Regain

I held a Puk in Wajaom Woodlands with less than 25% HP (means it'll use a TP move as soon as it has 100), and with 82 TP for 5 minutes without letting it hit me for damage, and it didn't use a TP move even once in all that time. It was Windsday. Where does the Regain information for Puks come from? -- FFXI-Armando 18:47, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

Tried the same test on Lightsday, no Regain either. I'm thinking A) Puks don't have Regain at all, B) Puks only have Regain during Light/Wind weather, and not days, or C) only Mamook/Beseiged Puks have Regain, kind of like Ill Wind. Can anyone shed some light on this? Mamook Puks would hit me too hard for me to stall with Stoneskin indefinitely. --FFXI-Armando 02:35, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

I think I know where this comment came from. Go solo puks on lightsday, and cast dia on them.Solo them on earthday and cast slow, iceday paralyze. At first I thought it was just the ZNM Puk that did this, but when soloing out here on bst durring lightday, I diaga'd to get rid of a Zephyr Mantle (twice in a row), and then suddenly I got hit with wind sheer.
