Category talk:Special Items
From FFXIclopedia, the free Final Fantasy XI encyclopedia
Hmm, could you explain why categorizing these item pages this way is useful for FFXIclopedia readers? I'm a little confused because it seems like a broad catch-all. --Ichthyos 02:45, 17 July 2006 (EDT)
Frankly, you're probably reasonably right that this isn't very useful to the average FFXIclopedia reader. I'm sort of planning to further seperate it into slightly more specialized sub-categories, i.e. for keys, quests items, and maybe something for the AF+1 quest equipment. Mostly though, this is because I was looking over the uncategorized pages page, and a LARGE amount of the stuff there didn't fit into an already created category but it would fit into a quest-related category. This is as much to make it easier to categorize pages that genuinely missed being put into already created categories as anything. Hope this at least explains a little. --Jahin 14:26, 17 July 2006 (EDT)
There's already a Key Category, so I don't think keys should be included in this category. ~ Karuberu 09:36, 11 August 2006 (EDT)
I can definately say there was need for this category (or something similar). Previously, if an item wasn't crafted or a peice of equipment, there was no category for it. That left all quest-related and otherwise "special" items out all alone. --Enfield 09:42, 11 August 2006 (EDT)
