Walkthrough
- Check any of the Cavernous Maws at the following locations:
- Batallia Downs (H-5)
- Rolanberry Fields (H-6)
- Sauromugue Champaign (K-9, SW corner of grid) - use the Garlaige Citadel exit behind the Third Banishing Gate (exits to J-10)
- Note: To access this Cavernous Maw you must pass through Garlaige Citadel (S). DO NOT go back in the present and leave the cliff if this is the Cavernous Maw you exit in the first CS of Mission 1. Go unlock another Cavernous Maw in the past such as Rolanberry Fields (S) first. Otherwise, you'll have to either proceed through all three Banishing Gates and exit Garlaige Citadel in the present, or get tractored up the cliff in the present to go back into the past again.
- The resulting cutscene begins Back to the Beginning.
Additional Info
Using Cavernous Maws
- Upon checking a Cavernous Maw for the first time in Batallia Downs, Sauromugue Champaign, or Rolanberry Fields you will trigger the first mission cutscene.
- You will obtain the Key Item: Pure White Feather, which is your "Pass" through the Cavernous Maws.
- A portion of the first mission cutscene may depend on which Cavernous Maw was used to enter the past.
- When you first enter a Cavernous Maw you will be transported randomly to another Cavernous Maw in Batallia Downs (S), Sauromugue Champaign (S), or Rolanberry Fields (S).
- Once you enter the past for the first time, you can only re-enter the past from the present via the Cavernous Maw you originally exited from the past.
- You can unlock more Cavernous Maws in the different "Past Zones" by using the Cavernous Maws in the past to access the present.
