Historical BackgroundEdit

Clotho is one of the three Fates in Greek mythology, beings who created, measured, and cut the threads of life which determine the existence of every being, mortal and immortal. It is said even the gods feared the Fates. Clotho was the youngest of the trio in some accounts, being depicted as a young woman, and was the one of spun the threads of life (in other accounts, all three Fates are old crones). Her name means "spinner". The other Fates are Lachesis and Atropos, whose names adorn the other two orbs which can be obtained for BCNMs with 30 Kindred's Seals.
