- Set up by members of the Beastman Confederate an enemy area when technology levels reach an unknown threshold. The groups that set them up are involved with supplies/sabotage.
- Spawns reinforcements that attack fortifications, depending on which force installed it:
- Dark Kindred: Allotaur
- Orcish Hosts: Orcish Strongarm
- Quadav Shieldwarriors: Khroma Quadav
- Yagudo Theomilitary: Yagudo Genja
- The belfry does not physically attack, however the reinforcements will attack anyone nearby when they pop.
- The belfry does not regenerate, but it has a lot of HP and has damage reduction.
- Support units from the Beastman Confederate can restore the HP of belfries.
- Having a pet attack the belfry and using Release/Leave once a reinforcement pops is recommended.

- The belfry and reinforcements are not considered an attacking wave, so they'll automatically despawn when campaign battle ends.
- A total number of five to ten reinforcements can be present, depending on the area, the belfry will respawn lost troops keeping the total at five.
- Reinforcements spawn every 5-60 seconds, depending also on how fast they are killed.
- Ghoyu's Reverie - The Confederate Belfry must be destroyed to win the battlefield for A Feast for Gnats. It will summon Quadav reinforcements as it is harmed.
- The units summoned by the belfries do not have MP. Therefore aspir spells don't work on them, unlike most other campaign battle mobs that can be aspired.
