- With respect to the Magic Attack increase, spells that are not attribute-dependent, such as 1000 Needles or Heat Breath, receive a direct percentage increase to their base damages (e.g. 1000 Needles with 1 point in Convergence inflicts 1050 damage unresisted). For spells that are attribute-dependent, such as Eyes On Me or Firespit, the percentage increase is applied to the portion of the damage calculation that does not depend on the target's stats.
- Fully merited, Convergence adds 25 Magical Accuracy and 25% Magic Attack to a single offensive Magical Blue Magic spell.
- Unlike Burst Affinity, the effect of Convergence is not consumed when casting blue magic spells that do not target enemies, such as enhancing spells.
- Convergence has no effect on physical Blue Magic spells.
- Note: Convergence will restrict Area of Effect spells to single target. Take caution when using this spell to enhance the accuracy of Yawn, Sheep Song or Soporific when being used to sleep multiple enemies.
