Description Spell cost: 8 MP Spell element: Light Magic skill: Healing Target: Any Jobs: Level 1 White Mage Level 3 Red Mage Level 4 Puppetmaster (Automaton Magic Skill 12*) Level 5 Paladin Level 5 Scholar *Note: Automatons learn this spell automatically once they have the requisite magic skill. They do not need to use a scroll.

Notes

While under the effect of Afflatus Solace, the target will be granted the effect of Stoneskin for 25 seconds.

• This effect does not stack with, and will not override effects granted by the Stoneskin spell, or Earthen Ward.
• The stoneskin effect has a potency equal to ~25% of the amount of max HP that cure restores.

This spell can be prevented from being cast on you by anybody outside of your Party or Alliance by using the command /blockaid.

• Automatically given if you start as White Mage.

Formula

h = floor((3*(MND + Healing Magic/5) + VIT) / x) + y) + Equipment bonus + Day bonus + Weather bonus)

where h = amount of HP healed; x = 2; y = (-10)

but if

h < 10, then h = 10

20 < h < 31, then x = 4; y = 5

30 < h, then x = 114; y = 29.125

Undead

The Cure line of spells may also be used offensively against Undead mobs.

Also cures sleep.
