What the types mean
There are 6 major categories of job abilities for Dancer. Some require TP, while others do not. Some are self-only. Some are party-only. Some are mob-only.

The importance of the categories, other than the requirements and areas of effect, is that each category has its own recast timer. Using one Job Ability in a category will prevent another one in that same category from being used, until the recast timer is up.
It is important to note that different abilities may have drastically different recast timers, even in the same category. For example, even though you can spam a Curing Waltz by itself every 6 seconds, using a Healing Waltz will stop you doing any other waltz for 15 seconds.
