Defense Down

Description

Defense Down is a harmful status effect that disorients players until it wears off or is removed. Afflicted characters experience reduced Defense, sometimes significantly reduced (by a couple hundred points). Defense Down is a wind-based effect.

How to remove the effect

The White Magic spell Erase will remove this effect.
The Dancer ability Healing Waltz will remove this effect.
The Blue Magic spell Cocoon may overwrite Defense Down with its own Defense Boost.
The Paladin ability Rampart may overwrite Defense Down with its own Defense Boost.

Abilities

Angon (-20%)
Box Step (-5% for 1st level, -2% for each successive level, for maximum of -13%)
Jump (-20%, when under the effect of Spirit Surge)
