Notes:

  • Spawns inside the maze area (H-8/I-8/J-8/H-9/I-9/J-9) of the first map only during Dark weather at night (generally from 8pm to 4am game time). Dark weather is totally random during this time frame, as it can take several game days before dark weather will occur.
  • Seems to be a 2 hour minimum between spawns from previous death.
  • Special Attacks: Ice Spikes, Rasp, Bio III, Stone III, Aero III, Water III, Blizzaga II, Sleep II, Freeze, Burst, Quake, Charm
  • Killable by one well-balanced capped party. Stunner recommended. Should be pulled to zone for safety.
  • Recommended 2 parties with ninjas tanks to prevent high damage from melee attacks, spells, and due to Charm.
  • Very resistant to magic damage spells and enfeebling magic. Susceptible to Stun.
  • Summoner or Beastmaster pets make the pull much easier, as dropping Sneak in the maze is generally a very bad idea due to the large number of undead mobs lurking inside.
  • Will immediately despawn if all hate is lost when dark weather is no longer present.

Historical Background

In Puelche mythology (a native tribe in Argentina), Elel is an evil demonic being who causes storms, illness, and death.
