Notes:

  • Appears in Beastman controlled areas during Campaign Battles (invisible in areas under allied control). When its HP reaches 50%, the amount is reset to full, and the Fortifications count for the area decreases by one.
  • The fortifications will spawn once an attacking wave begins their approach, and will despawn when the battle ends. As such, players attacking a beastman fort must wait until allied troops begin marching before they can attack the fortifications (they may take on any defenders until then).
  • Takes reduced damage from magical and physical attacks.
  • Can be skilled up on when not under the effects of Allied Tags. Skills cap at Job Level 50. Please see your job's corresponding combat/magic skill ratings for the skill cap at level 50. This is also verifiable as by the spell Level 5 Petrify.
  • Can receive same status effects as normal mobs (Stoneskin, Phalanx, Warcry, etc.) as well as be hit by area of effect attacks.
  • If a normal monster (non-campaign) uses an AoE attack near a Fortification, it will hit it, it is currently unknown if this is intended or not.
  • Appears susceptible to Hide+Sneak Attack, doubled my Dancing Edge damage when using this sometimes.
    • Susceptible to Sneak Attack; the Fortification will "face" whoever has hate and can be Sneak Attacked from the other direction. You can use /assist <t> while targeting the Fortification to determine who has hate, though this can change rapidly unless someone is actively trying to hold hate.
  • Immune to poison, but can be affected by Bio, Dia, Elemental Debuffs, and Helix spells. Can also be affected by Defense Down and Magic Defense DownVerification Needed effects.
  • Dark Knights can siphon its accumulated TP from hits with Absorb-TP.
