Walkthrough

• Talk to Oggbi in Port Bastok inside the Steaming Sheep Restaurant located at (E-6).
• Obtain a Pickaxe (you can buy one from Numa (E-7) in Port Bastok for about 190 gil).
• Head to Gusgen Mines and look for a ??? around G-7.

• Go straight across the first map and down the stairs. Use the left hand door to enter the second map.
• Go to the room in the northwest corner and follow the corridor that runs west from this room to the next map.
• Go to the second room. The ??? is located on the left side of the room at the back.
  • There is another ??? on the left side at the rear of a shed (this is not the one you want).

• Use a pickaxe there and it will trigger the Wandering Ghost to spawn.

• You can pop the NM on any job, you do not have to be on MNK.

• Kill it and it will drop the Miner's Pendant (make sure to lot it if doing it with others).
• Return to Port Bastok and trade it to Oggbi for your reward.

Summary

You are to go to the Gusgen Mines and pass the same trial as Oggbi's former student, Cornelia. Use a pickaxe on a certain hole in the mines to lure the Wandering Ghost out. Defeat it and bring back its "miner's pendant."
