Historical Background

Greed is one of the "Seven Deadly Sins" which lead to damnation according to some Christian beliefs. The other sins include wrath, lust, envy, gluttony, pride and sloth. This accounts to the seven Skull NM's in the Eldieme Necropolis.

Greed is the sin of having a desire for someone else's posessions, life, position, or any other "thing". The punishment for committing this sin is being dipped in pots of boiling oil. The demon that represents greed is Mammon.
