Historical Background

The word 破軍 came from the Chinese name of Alkaid, one of the seven stars collectively known as "The Big Dipper". Literally means: "Army Breaker". The star is also known as 揺光 in both Chinese and Japanese.　Possibly due to its cool writing and literal meaning, 破軍 is used in many novels and mangas as names for characters and items.
