Home Point

Large, glowing crystals throughout Vana'diel can be used to set the place where a character returns to upon KO. These Home Point crystals do not move.

Additional ways to set your Home Point include 1) talking to outpost guards at outposts, and 2) changing your job in your Mog House and then confirming to set the Home Point upon exit. (Note, however, that Al Zahbi can not be set as a home point, presumably because of Besieged.)

As well as choosing to go there, after KO, you can return to your Home Point by using some form of Warp, including the following:

• Casting Warp or Warp II on yourself.
• Having a Black Mage party member cast Warp II on you.
• Using a Scroll of Instant Warp.
• Using an Enchanted Item, such as a Warp Cudgel.
