Historical Background

In Norse mythology, Huginn (also spelled Hugin) and Muninn were 2 ravens affiliated with Odin. They would fly around the 9 worlds that composed the Norse universe each day and return at dusk. Huginn would tell Odin what he saw. Huginn means “thought” in Norse.
