Tips
Getting there is a pain. Most 75's can solo the Temple Guardian so if everyone runs out of the BCNM only one will have to run back. Don't forget your lanterns! Resetting Tonberry hate might be a good idea before going in.
Working Job Combinations
PLD or NIN tank, BLM, RDM or WHM healer and 2 DDs
Sleepga and single target kill
This is a relatively easy BCNM since the Tonberries are light based and can be easily slept. A PLD or NIN can both tank it fine. The WHM or RDM should keep haste and bar-ra up for Astral Flow.
Strategy:
- Have your BLM run in and cast Sleepga II.
- Kill the mobs as in a typical experience party.
- Kill the tonberries in the following order: BLM -> THF -> SMN -> NIN.
- Keep the BLM and NIN silenced and make sure they're all paralyzed. If you don't have a RDM don't worry, BLM enfeebles stick as well.
- The 2hrs don't hurt too much.
- Don't DoT any of them so you can Sleepga in case it goes wrong.
