Kick Attacks

Job Trait Overview

  • Game Description: Occasionally adds kick attacks.
  • Job Traits are always active.
  • Further Notes:
    • Kick Attacks II is thought to have a base rate of 10%; that is, for each combat round, there is a 10% chance of a Kick Attack occuring.
    • Merit upgrades of this trait affect the frequency of activation, at a rate of 1% per point added.

Effect Overview

  • Occasionally adds an additional kick attack each combat round.
  • This effect is only active using hand-to-hand.
  • Kick Attacks effect from gear does not require the job trait to be enabled.
  • Equipment with the effect of "Kick Attacks +" is generally believed to increase the rate of kicks by that many percentage (i.e. +5 returns a 5% increase), although there is some evidence to suggest that a lower percentage is returned.
  • Kick damage is equal to base Hand to Hand damage (the damage of a punch with no weapon equipped). Damage can be increased by equipping footwear with the hidden "Kick Damage" effect, such as Kung Fu Shoes, Wulong Shoes, and Dune Boots.
  • Kick Attacks can give Hand-to-Hand skillups.
