Walkthrough Edit

• You must have a job to level 30, and you must have the Wings of the Goddess expansion installed and registered to be able to activate this quest.

• Speak with Laila (G-7) in Upper Jeuno Pick "I surely do" then choose "never", she will ask you for a Stardust Pebble.

• Speak with Rhea Myuliah standing right next to her for a cut scene.

• Head to Lion Springs Tavern in Southern San d'Oria and talk to Valderotaux for a cut scene where you will ask Valderotaux for permission to dance on stage.
  • During the cutscene you can choose any options, and the results will be same.

• Return to Upper Jeuno and talk to Rhea Myuliah again, she will inform you about a pebble that is lying at the bottom of Lake Mechieume in Jugner Forest (S).

• Exit to Batallia Downs and head to the Cavernous Maw (H-5) go to the past then Batallia Downs (S) -> Jugner Forest (S). Follow road to J-6 then go around the mountain to your right to reach Lake Mechieume.

• Surrounding Orcs and Gnoll will aggro as a level 99. (They are Easy Prey)

• • NOTE: If this is your first trip to the past, and the cutscene drops you in Sauromugue Champaign (S), it is recommended that you unlock a Cavernous Maw in a different area before leaving the past. If you do not, you will have to get past Banishing Gates 1 & 3 in present-day Garlaige Citadel in order to return to the past. The Banishing Gates in Garlaige Citadel (S) can be bypassed by one person.

• • If you're in a hurry, have someone go to the past and then go to present at the maw, meet them below the maw and have them tractor you up. I found this way to be much'' quicker and easier.
  • Also note that taking a Chocobo from Southern San d'Oria (S) does not get you directly to the pebble.The Orc walls are one way trips, in the direction of pebble.
    
    
  • A faster and safer way is to Recall-Jugner, get a Chocobo from Helmyre and travel directly to the Glowing Pebbles. Cross the river at (I-8) then cross the barricade at (J-7/8) make your way North towards the lake. Or use the Campaign Arbiter to warp to Jugner Forest (S) and walk if you don't have the crystal or easy access to the Recall spell.
  • If you are a fresh 30 and have no high level friend to help, it is possible, though harrowing, to walk there. Get reraise from a field manual or conquest points scroll, and buy another scroll to take with you. Deodorizer, Silent Oil and Prism Powder would probably make it much easier as well, although I managed it without them. If you are aggroed and cannot zone, find a clear safe place to die, reraise yourself and wait out the weakness effect. In Batallia, head south giving a wide berth to all goblins and smilodons and hug the edge of the zone up the mountains as far as it will let you while heading west. When you zone into Jugner veer to the right of the road up the mountain as far as you can, and go slow and careful -- unlike in the rest of the game, insects and funguar are all hostile here and will kill you dead. Once you get to the lake you can breath normally again, it's nothing but crabs.
  • Both ways are an one way trip, so be prepared to run through Batallia Downs (S), or simply Warp home.
• You will find Glowing Pebbles at I-5. Click them for a cutscene. You will then obtain a Stardust Pebble Key Item.

• Return to Upper Jeuno to speak with Laila (G-7) once more. Now you may become a Dancer.

• You must zone in order for Dancer to appear in your Job levels list.
