A great Squaresoft...errm, Square-Enix classic that I regrettably never played...now I have an excuse to play it w/o scrounging for a copy of Final Fantasy Chronicles (FFIV + Chrono Trigger).

wonder if it will be a total overhaul of the game like they have done with FFIII and FFIV? I wouldn't mind a 3D Chrono Trigger with updated cutscenes...

Now I'm wondering when they'll release it for Europe too.

Didn't see the FFIV for DS yet, so I guess we'll have to wait quite some time again.

Still good to hear they upgrade some good old games for DS.

Ehh... boring. I love Chrono Trigger as much as the next guy, but this looks as if it's just a port to the DS version, and I still own the original for the SNES and can play it at any time, so while I'm excited that others will be able to experience the awesome that is Chrono Trigger, I think I'll be saving my money.

I like Chrono Trigger alot, I still have it on SNES but it would be great if SE would shock us and release FF3 and secret of mana in a chrocles type compilation. Additionally why not re-release the Dragon Warrior/Quest trilogies as compliations? Lots of money to be made and probably minimal development cost.

What? Comparing Trigger to cross? Chrono Cross was fun, but it pales in comparison to Chrono Trigger (except in world size and number of characters). Let's just hope their going to update it.

Additionally, Final Fantasy IV for the DS is set to be released on the 22nd... which would be Tuesday (at least here in the US).

It doesn't look like much... only thing I'm curious about is touch screen capabilities. Awesome game though.

CT, eh? ...with Nintendo being more lax about game content now than they were 13 years ago (its been THAT long!?) ...they'll most likely redo tho script. I'd like to see something more in-line with the CT Retranslation Project.

CT was one of the greatest SNES RPGs it's nice that they're bringing it to the DS :)

That's cool and all, but being a direct port is kind of weak. The changes they made to FF4 made it the version to own, wish they'd give CT the same honor. Now if only Nintendo would listen and bring Mother 3 over on the DS or something.

I've always wanted to play this game, but i wanted (and still do) the original SNES version (i like to own the originals for some reason). ill definitely pick this one up at some point, i loved FF3 and gonna get FFIV at some point, hopefully soon :)
