Awesome I think this is a better move for Square-Enix to bring more games to the Xbox360 since they want more JPs leave the Ps2 to behind and move to a better system like the xbox360. Sony is not making a good name for the PS3 cause of them hardware issues and software. Good Game for SE

As the owner of all three "NEXT GEN" consoles im speaking from experience. Im glad to see more RPGs are coming to the 360. I play FFXI exclusively on the 360. I also play every RPG that comes out for the 360. My PS3 gets hardly any play time because there's just nothing worth playing. So lets hope SE gets smarter and brings over more games, especially the Final Fantasy series {proper}, to the 360.

Star Ocean IV seems nice... but I never played any other Star Ocean >.>;

Infinite Undiscovery almost makes me want to buy an 360, but FFXIII is coming to the PS3 (by the end of the year I heard... ain't sure though) so I'd rather wait/save a bit for it ^_^;

And no need to believe FFXIII will come to the 360, they said it was PS3 exclusive... but yet there might be a port later on... who knows except SE :)

Personally, I've played all 3 other Star Oceans. Beautifully well done games; however, I'm VERY sad to say that I'll miss the 4th one in the series due to it's 360 only release. In my opinion the 360 is garbage and just another attempt from Microsoft to make you buy more stuff. SE's willingness to place a game previously only for the PlayStation onto the 360 exclusively just WREAKS of an SE/Microsoft closed doors, dark room talk to boost sales for an obsolete system to me. Sorry guys and gals, but you can have this one. Farewell Star Ocean.... I'll miss ya!

This is somewhat interesting, and the only thing I can say about this is BRICK!!!!!*destroys a XBox 360 with a brick* Now that that's out of the way, My thoughts can now be said. SE choosing these games is somewhat interesting, but not very big. Yea the style they are being made are quite interesting, but unless someone has spent there every waking moment tracking what games SE makes, no one would really know this(cep maybe now) and the only game that would sell the most(unless word of mouth on how great the other games are) might be Star Ocean. Remember the glory days when a game just had Square on it and sold like some object hotter than hot cakes? Yea thats gone. Frankly this announcement didn't really make me squeal like a school girl after getting ask by the school hunk to the prom. After checking on the games(cep Star Ocean) I was kinda happy about the games and glad that SE is bringing something like these out and not because they are bringing them out on the 360. Theses are gonna be great games to add to SE hall of greatness, which sad to say, isn't as big as I hope it is, and isn't gonna make me get a 360 just so i can play these games. Only game thats coming out for it that will is Too Human, which I believe might and may in fact be better than these games. But we wont know for a fact until they come out, and that's still a ways away

Pretty Much Everyone that has Blown up about this either has Never Played a 360 or is PS biased which either way means u guys are tards. PS3 since its release has had nothing but Garbage. Nearly Every game on PS3 has been ported to 360.. and remember IT DOESN'T TAKE 3 YEARS TO PLAY THE GAME!! and Yes i own a PS3 only reason i bought it was for FFXIII other then that it can sit and collect dust GG no RE!

Of course not every game on the PS3 or on the Wii for that matter is garbage. You would hope if your paying $500 and $250 {respectively} that not all the games would be garbage. Sadly, the majority of the games on the system are. Dont even take my word for it or that of others on this thread, just read some of the metacritic numbers for the systems. The Xbox 360 has the highest average score for the games on its system, plus for games on multiple systems the 360 usually has the highest scores {due to multiplayer, online content, and of course achievements}.

SE making games exclusive for the 360 is just a numbers game. More 360s have been sold then the PS3 worldwide. Which means more potential buyers for its games. SE is going to be losing millions of dollars on FFXIII since there arent enough PS3s sold yet to cover the cost of the games. {figure if lucky 33% of owners buy the game} you cant recoup development costs. Sony paid SE a large sum of money to release the game on there system {neighborhood of $60 million}, thats most likely for a window of exclusivity.

As far as MGS4, dont be surprised if it shows up on the 360 in the future with new content, Konami will have to release it when the sales numbers for MGS4 dont live up to the hype and costs to make the game.

360s have outsold PS3s even to date. Star Ocean for 360 is no big brainer, DMC4 was supposed to be a PS3 only release but Capcom knew they would lose tons of money because the system still had not sold. Same story with Ninja Gaiden 2. It was originally going to be a PS3 exclusive but Temco scrapped that idea also. Right now there are far more 360 owners than PS3 owners so Square-Enix will continue to release anything they can for 360. Its just the cold hard truth of the market. You go where the money is, and its still not with Sony.

+GTA4 for that matter. Its not uncommons for GTAs to come to microsoft consoles but its the first GTA game to have a silmultaneous Sony/Microsoft release.

i traded my ps3 in for a 360, after playing the ps3 for 4months, the system is crap, who really uses blue ray...not me. who uses it to access the net...not me, (own a pc for that purpose)besides its horribly slow even with high speed connection, oh and to top it all off, Ps3 has a puny library of pitiful games, yes there are a few good games in it, but lets face it for half the money you can have a 360 and i promise you more bang for your buck.

oh just thought of a great comparison...Sony tries to market the Ps3 like Kirby does their vaccuums, for those of you who arent familiar with Kirby, it is a vaccuum/carpet shampooer/airfilter, that scrawny salespeople who come to your door make look like the best thing since applejuice, THEN they tell you for 1500.00 you can own one too, and as soon as they leave you with your shiny new 1500.00 vaccuum/carpet shampooer/air filter, you dont use anything that it can do except vaccuum the carpet. when you could have just bought a 120.00 vaccuum that performs just as well for half the cost. PEACE IM OUT!!
