Either party has not helped the nation really. Under Bush, yes he gave a paltry $300-600 to the people, but at what price?
To Messabebonk: First please clean up your writing as it was a bit hard to understand what you were trying to state. Secondly, the democrats did not take our "rites" away. The republican president did, named George Bush.
And last point, how very nasty you are to make a mess of the man trying to run for the office of presidency. You are NOT voting on the issues that is being presented, but on a name? color? or what?
I play video games, but did not think that what the candidates thought of video games at this time is pertinent to the mass of Americans struggling to put enough gas in their car to go to work to keep the food on the table for one more day, especially when my sons and daughters are over in a country fighting for a war that made no sense whatsoever unless you look at what is there, OIL!!!I say the parent. It's your fault if you buy your kid GTA IV and are utterly shocked and horrified that you kid just picked up a hooker in the game >.> Same thing goes with movies, you gotta check out the reason for their ratings.
(Might not make sense >.< 6am and still coding)As for alleged ties between Sadaam and Al Qaida, that has been proven to be false and the White House and Republican Party have admitted it, so please stop saying that because authorities from both parties have acknowledged that to be false. Also, don't assume that Democrats=outlawing guns. My vote will definitely be for Obama, but I own a 2 guns and many of my friends own several. Obama's primary passions have very little to do with gun laws and everything to do with helping the poor and middle class put food on the table, get money for education, stay out of debt, and keep our homes. I don't know where this intense fear comes from about Democrats outlawing guns. Sure there are some that feel that way, but there ARE other ways to handle gun safety that need to be discussed and implemented. I know a lot of Democrats who have guns in their lives but aren't scared of that being affected by a Democratic President, or don't have guns in their lives and really don't care or think about the issue, but certainly aren't out crusading against them. We didn't lose them under 2 Democratic terms in the 90s, why would we lose them all of a sudden now? It's just an election ploy to get votes. Don't be a fool and fall for it. If you want less of a Big Brother government, then McCain is not your candidate. Remember, just because McCain is the new GOP candidate doesn't mean that the rest of the party leaders and advisors under and around Bush are going to be changing guard too. Please, whichever way you vote, read each man's platform on each issue instead of listening to the old propaganda and the generic party stereotypes that get loosely tossed around in the mainstream. You may be supporting a candidate that does not agree with your views.
-Dalso, if you don't want the troops pulled out asap, then you must not have someone close to you over there, because every mother and father i know with a kid over there goes through hell every day their kid stays over there longer. the best thing i could do for my friends over there if i were pres would be to bring them home instead of further risking their lives.
It bothers me that everybody uses the troops to further their own agenda. just tack "support the troops, do what i say" to their platform. how about saving their lives. support them that way. and what about military families who don't agree with the GOP and/or who are voting for Obama? what do you say to their opinion?
