Notes:

• Location: East Sarutabaruta (K-7) Ruins, Beetle's Burrow map, (F-9), in front of the Treasure Chest spawn.
• Timed spawn (not lottery) of approximately 1 hour to 2 hours.
• Has an very strong innate Haste effect, similar to Hundred Fists.
• Immune to Sleep.
• Susceptible to Silence.
• Takes 1.5x greater magical/elemental damage, similar to Sewer Syrup.
• Has ~850 HP.
• Maltha will link with the two Blobs, but the Blobs will not link with Maltha.

Special attacks:

• Uses all of the standard Slime family attacks.
• Casts Drain and Aspir.

Historical Background

Maltha is the name for a natural, viscous black bitumen. Bitumen is a class of black, sticky organic compounds. Tar and asphalt are the most common examples of bitumen.
