You have 30 minutes to synthesize the items Doledriq asks for. You will be issued three Temporary Items at the start of the mission: a Pickaxe, a Sickle, and a Hatchet. These items are merely for show; they will never break and can not be used in the normal fashion (to harvest, log, or mine, simply examine the appropriate point).

The Fabricant Idol, found a short distance into the maze, is used to synthesize items once the necessary ingredients are gathered. If Maze Rune 106 ("Guidance Contract") is set, you can select an item to get a list of the required ingredients for that item (using the Maze Pearl provided by Maze Rune 106 will also produce a list of ingredients you need).

You can get the ingredients by either examining the Harvesting Points, Mining Points, or Logging Points scattered around the maze, or from the ???s that appear after defeating the various monsters throughout the maze (these ???s will yeild 3-6 items, depending on the strength of the monster). These items are Rare, Exclusive, and Temporary and are automatically stored with Stowastiq, located opposite the Fabricant Idol, once obtained. New monsters will spawn each time Doledriq asks you to synthesize an item.

Once you have collected the necessary items, examine the Fabricant Idol and select the item from the list to attempt synthesis. You can choose to synthesize alone or choose "group synthesis," which presumably reduces the risk of failure, but requires that all participants are standing in the circle around the Fabricant Idol. If synthesis fails, several ingredients may be lost and will have to be reobtained.

After successfully synthesizing the initial item, return to Doledriq at the entrance to turn it in. He will ask you to create another item, but will allow you to choose the rank of the item. Higher ranked items require more ingredients, including some that will have to be synthesized, but will yeild better rewards from the Hoardbox. However, the amount of marbles obtained will not increase with higher rank items.

If a one of the following runes is set, there is a high chance that a strong, NM-like member of the corresponding monster family will spawn. If defeated, these monsters will drop items that would normally have to be synthesized. Multiple runes can cause multiple monsters to spawn.
