Abbreviation: MND

• A stat that determines the effectiveness of Healing Magic spells, White Magic Enhancing Magic spells and White Magic Enfeebling Magic spells.

• MND increases resistance to White Magic spells as well as reducing base damage taken from them.
  • Some people believe that MND increases resistance to all spells, not just White Magic, but there are no known published tests that show this conclusively. See Magical Resistance.

• Mind also plays a large role in determining the damage of Chi Blast, Banish, Holy Bolts, and some Blue Mage spells such as Mind Blast and Magic Hammer.

• Mind has the biggest increase in cure potency compared to Vitality and Healing Magic (1MND = 3VIT = 5Healing Magic).

Associated with the element of Water. Many water-based items add MND to a character's Stats. Example: Leviathan's Rod
