Historical Background

In Greek mythology, the Moliones (Molionidai), were a pair of siamese twin brothers. Their individual names were Eurytus and Cteatus. They were described as having 1 body with 2 heads, 4 arms, and 4 legs. Their father was either Actor, a mortal man, or Poseidon, the god of the sea. They were killed by Hercules in the hinterlands of Argolis.
