Description

Pioneers who brave the dank and treacherous Moh Gates are greeted with a sight just as grisly in the Morimar Basalt Fields. Crusted magma vomited from the mouths of regions countless volcanoes covers the ground in wrinkled, sluge-grey masses.

Despite the gelid climate, the scalding water that spews forth from the area's myrid springs makes it almost impossible for for more than a single ilm of snow to accumuluate. Thus, though vegetation is scarce, the snow barely provides any respite for the eyes. About the only living creatures in this glacial clime are the lizards that stalk adventurers with a starved determination.
