Notes
The ![]()
equivalent is Ochimusha Kote.
Ochimusha and Ochiudo are both Japanese for "defeated soldier fleeing the enemy."
Ochi- more to the point means "rebel remnants of a defeated faction." Samurai were usually given this title not for going Ronin after their lord was defeated, but for becoming peasants or acting dishonorably afterward. Moreover, -udo means "user of/profession." like "kariudo" is "hunter" (the Japanese name for Ranger), whereas -musha means "warrior", such as "Kagemusha" meaning a body-double. So one glove means the gloves of a rebel (being used by you), one glove means the gloves of a rebel (being you.)
