Statistics Pannus Cell An imbued item obtained in the Ruins of Alzadaal. Blocks the debilitating psychowaves that limit strength. Stackable: Not Stackable	Other Uses Resale Price: Cannot be sold to NPCs. Salvage: Removes STR Down. If this item is in your inventory before entering another Salvage, you will be denied entry. You must remove this item before being allowed into Salvage again. Used to spawn Socket Notorious Monsters.

Historical Background

All imbued cells used in Salvage are named after various cloud formations.

Pannus means “patch” in Latin (as in a patch of cloth), but in this context it appears to refer to a variety of clouds. These all tend to be low-flying clouds.

Cumulus pannus

These are shreds of clouds passing underneath cumulus clouds (large, puffy, cottony clouds). They belong to the cumulus cloud, being shredded off from it.

Altostratus pannus

These are shreds of clouds passing underneath altostratus clouds (high-level blanket clouds). They belong to the altostratus cloud, being shredded off from it.

Cumulonimbus pannus

These are shreds of clouds passing underneath cumulonimbus clouds (rain-bearing cumulus clouds). They belong to the cumulonimbus cloud, being shredded off from it. They are commonly seen during storms moving in a different direction from the cumulonimbus clouds.

Nimbostratus pannus

These are shreds of clouds passing underneath nimbostratus clouds (rain-bearing stratus clouds). They belong to the nimbostratus cloud, being shredded off from it.
