Rank Bar

Rank Points

You can access this screen using your Menu: Status > Profile, This screen displays your characters details, which includes the Rank Points. Rank points are given for the completion of missions, and can also be gained through the donation of crystals to the Guards in your home nation (Or Jeuno).

1. Rank

This is your current rank, in this image the Rank of the character is '5'.

2. Rank Points

This bar shows the amount of Rank Points you have earned, in bar form, it also shows how many rank points you can earn before filling the bar.

Collecting Rank Points

Some Missions require that you fill your Rank Points bar to a certain level before being able to have them offered to you. This is done by trading crystals to your nation's gate guards (Windurstian War Warlocks, San d'Orian Temple Knights or the Iron Musketeers of Bastok, see also: Conquest Overseer). You can also Donate these crystals to the guards of your consulate, should you find yourself in a foreign nation. If you donate crystals to the point where your rank bar would be beyond filled, any extra points will be added to your conquest points, and the Conquest Overseers will not accept any more after that trade.

• It also appears that trading more valuable crystals will yield more rank points; IE trading a stack of Light Crystals gave a lot more Rank Bar than a stack of Earth.
  • For example, trading a stack of dark crystals yields 2.5x more rank points than trading a stack of ice crystals.

You can also add to your rank bar by taking part in repeatable missions given by your nation, these missions are not always available, but when available, you can use these missions to top up your rank bar.
